Ballot Board clears way for petition drive on Voters Bill of Rights

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WTVN) --The Ohio Ballot Board Thursday cleared the way for backers of an Ohio Voters Bill of Rights to begin the next step in getting the proposed constitutional amendment before voters.

The Ballot Board certified it as one issue, starting the clock on the effort to gather 385,247 signatures. Supporters will have to do that by July 2 in order to make the November ballot.
